Last Friday while Thousands of twitards were packing movie theaters everywhere Dante and Myself were in Hollywood seeing an insane concert. 4 1/2 straight hours of death metal. I would have loved to see someone with a Twilight shirt walk into the building that night because i guarantee there would not have been mercy on them.
The scene was one hard to forget a sea of black t-shirts displaying the logos of every metal band from Iron Maiden to Children of Bodom.

On the card for the night were 4 acts 3 of which put on an amazing show while 1 managed to keep us entertained for how ridiculousness they were.

The first act of the night was High on fire [link] who put on an epic performance for an opening act.

Second was Converge [link] This was the act that as I said I could take or leave though they were admitedly entertaining

Third up was the first of the two headliners Mastodon [link] A fantastic performance with trippy and mesmerizing imagery portrayed as the band played.

Lastly to finish the show the main attraction of the night DETHKLOK [link]

Dethklok's performance was like nothing i have ever seen. as soon as they came on stage there was barely room to move and not a person in the lobby. Quickly moshing broke out as well as crowd surfing there were beer cups and articles of clothing flying everywhere. about half the songs played came from the new album while the other half were old favorites from their first.
